one week program The Sagala Wildldife and Culture week offers a wealth of insights into the animal kingdom with interesting gamedrives, but also enables the participants to experience the culture and environment around the Tsavo Park eco system. During daily excursions you will enjoy seeing wildlife, extraordinary landscapes, and significant sights far off the beating tracks and to meet indigenous friendly people who will give you a warm welcome Ideal : for all active guest and groups Requirements: readiness to experience the beauty of this great land Guiding: by our experienced Tourguides Programm · Day 1 / Arrival and Welcome at the Lodge. After allocation of your Bungalow relaxation at the pool. At teatime your Tourguide will conduct a short introduction and talk about the week's program at the observation terrace · Day 2 / full day gamedrive to Tsavo East National Park · Day 3 / Excursion to Sagala Hills and visit to the first historic inland church/mission of Kenya (which today hosts a small museum and displays a few very important historic items) enjoy a breathtaking view from the summit of the hills · Day 4 / We visit an authentic village in the bush, the world's largest Baobab tree, the Sagala colonial train station where the "Maneaters of Tsavo" story took place, and a Sisal plantation. In the afternoon feeding and taking care of our orphan- and young animals in our sanctuary · Day 5 / fullday excursion to Lake Jipee which is marking the boundery between Kenya and Tanzania. Pic-Nic lunch at the Kenya Wildlife Ranger Post and excursion on the lake by boat · Tag 6 / fullday gamedrive in the Tsavo West Park around the Ngulia Hills · Tag 7 / short drive and pic-nic at the "Kilimanjaro Point". In the afternoon relax at the pool and receive an invitation from the Lodge Manager to a sundowner farewell cocktail at the observation terrace. In the evening; open air candle light dinner and stargate - where is the southern cross ? · Tag 8 / return to Mombasa or Nairobi |
